Shirley Ann Talarico's Obituary
On this eleventh day of November, Shirley completed her trek to meet her Lord. Shirley A. South was born on October 4th, 1936, to Joseph Woodville South and Nellie Lee South. Shirley married Joseph Talarico, Jr. on June 27th, 1959. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Joseph Edward South (Margie), Billy Lee South (Frances), and Bobby South (Margie). She is survived by her husband, Joseph Talarico, Jr. of 62 years; children, Joseph Talarico III (Laurie) and Mark Talarico (Tammy); grandchildren, Jenna Talarico and Joseph Talarico IV and their mother, Lisa Michelle Talarico. Shirley is remembered for her 30 years as the Hallmark lady. The family extends thanks to the caregivers at Reynolds Hospice House for their compassionate care. The family will receive friends from 5 -7 p.m. Wednesday, November 17th at Memorial Park Funeral Home, with a Rosary to begin at 7 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 18th at Church of the Holy Spirit with entombment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
