Sheri Taylor Stevens' Obituary
Sheri Taylor Stevens, 65, passed away on January 27, 2026, in Germantown, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sheri was a vivacious, fun-loving person who could light up a room as soon as she walked in. She made her career as an Elementary School teacher, teaching grades from kindergarten to the sixth grade. Her passion for working with children carried over into her life, making sure she was always there to lend a listening ear to her children and their friends and offering guidance to anyone who needed it. She enjoyed playing games with her family, being outdoors, especially in the mountains somewhere. She loved spending time with her family outdoors.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, John Stevens, her mother, Mrs. Joe Ann Taylor, her sons, Andrew “Drew” Stevens (Rebekah), Matthew "Matt" Stevens, and stepson, Cameron Donovan (Alex), and her sister Dee Duett. She also leaves behind 7 nieces and 3 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Joe Allen Taylor.
