Sheila Hope Sitton Hall's Obituary
Sheila Hope Sitton Hall, 63, of Collierville, TN passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 22nd, 2024.
Sheila was born September 30th 1960, in Memphis TN, the daughter of Sam and Janice Sitton, and lived her entire life in the Memphis area.
Her wonderful spirit touched so many lives, she loved, and was loved, by so many people.
Sheila married Steve Hall in September 2004, and they spent many happy years together traveling, enjoying life and spending time with friends and family.
She worked as an Administrative Assistant at FedEx for almost 35 years, where she made many friends, and after leaving FedEx in 2013, spent time pursuing other interests including quilting, crafting and helping to take care of Chloe and Olivia, who brought her so much joy in the latter years of her life.
Sheila is survived by her husband Steve, mother Janice Sitton, brothers Sam (Jan) Sitton and Kenny Sitton, nephews Matthew Sitton, Caleb Sitton, Sebastian Cunningham and Toby Cunningham, nieces Michelle (Wes) King, Lauren Sitton, Millie Cunningham and a great-niece, Eliza Hope King, as well as her step-mother Rose Sitton.
Apart from her immediate family she was also “Aunt Sheila” to many, many others including Kaitlin, Kelsey and Kanin, Rachel and Amy, Chelsey and Anna, Ben and Tony.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Sitton.
Services will be held on Wednesday July 31st at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave in Memphis, TN, with visitation from 2pm to 3pm, prior to the funeral service at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
