Sheila Earnheart Crenshaw's Obituary
Sheila Earnheart Crenshaw, 83, of Walls, MS passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. As an active member of her community she was involved in many organizations in Memphis, TN and Mississippi. She was President of the Josephine Circle from 1989 to 1990, member of King’s Daughters, Kennedy Book Club, and the Republican Women’s Club of Mississippi. She assisted Senator Roger Wicker in his office for several years in Southaven MS. Later, she was the first woman to run for Desoto County Supervisor. She was a member of the Whitehaven Country Club and The University Club. In the early years she was active in Grace Methodist Church of Whitehaven and in recent years a member of Minor Memorial Methodist Church of Walls, MS. She and her husband also developed Grandview Lakes Estates in Walls, MS. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She leaves behind, a son, Eddie Crenshaw and his wife Debbie, a daughter, Ellen Crenshaw Charles and her husband Bill, two grandchildren, Brent and Cameron Crenshaw, a sister, Kathy Wilson, and one brother, Jack Thomas Earnheart. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2013 at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis TN. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday at New Bethlehem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to her favorite charity, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
