Sharon Lynn Fletcher's Obituary
Mrs. Sharon Lynn Fletcher, 64, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away June 13, 2025 peacefully in her home in Cordova, where she spent her final days surrounded by her loving husband and children.
Funeral services will be conducted on June 19, 2025 in the Riverside Chapel of Memorial Park where the family will receive friends from 10am-12pm with funeral service to follow at 12:00pm.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Bates Benson and Wansie Benson. She attended Memphis State, and she continued to be an avid Memphis Tigers Fan, both Basketball and Football. She began working for First Horizon Bank in 1987, at which she remained a loyal employee for 38 years.
She met her husband, James Fletcher, playing Trivia with close friends, where an immediate spark began. She married the love of her life on March 12, 2010, and they purchased their home together where they have spent 15 lovely years. In 2018, she was finally able to build her dream backyard with a pool, which will forever be referred to as “Sharon’s Place.” She loved the beach, laying out at her pool every summer, HGTV, and her design magazines that often gave her ideas to re-decorate their dream home.
She leaves behind her husband, James Fletcher, her three children, Anna Favazza, Valerie Favazza, and Luigi Favazza (Berenice); one grandchild, Mya Favazza; and four grand-dogs, Whiskey, Olive, Pedro and https://Numa.Her family meant the world to her, and as her family, we loved and adored her so very much. She was the best Wife, Mom and Grammy anyone could ever have, and we will deeply miss her.
