Seigle Charles Hayes' Obituary
Seigle Charles Hayes was born in Alton, IL on January 25, 1942 to Clyde and Irma Hayes and passed away on October 30, 2020 at the age of 78.
He received a Bachelor of Business Degree from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL in 1967. Mr. Hayes started his career as a system analyst at Olin Mathieson in Alton, IL. In his career, he worked for Miles Laboratories, Mallinckrodt, Varco Pruden, and NTN-Bower as a Data Systems Manager.
In 1977, he moved his wife and family to Germantown, TN. He was known as Mr. FIXIT, whether it was working on cars, building bird houses or plumbing. He and his wife enjoyed traveling the United States.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Natalie; and two sisters, Joyce Pelot and June Chiste. His survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sharon; daughters, Shari Moultrie, Lisa Woodard; son, Scott Hayes; granddaughters, Lizabeth Moultrie, Marissa Woodard, Chelsea Woodard; and grandson, John Hayes.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that all memorials be made in his honor to the Humane Society of America or Best Friends Animal Society.
Family will have private viewing and burial.
