Scott was my manager during his brief stint in Akron, OH back in ’84-’85. I’ve never forgotten his friendly, positive style and wry sense of humor! My success as an employee, in large measure, is thanks to Scott’s support and direction. I’ve always been grateful for that and will continue to remember him and think of those good times we shared. Sincere condolences to Scott’s family and friends.
Scott placed me at one of my previous jobs so I called him this spring as I was looking for another one. I had no idea how sick he was but he returned my call and helped me as a friend not professionally. I told him I would pray for him. He was a great person to me and I am saddened by his family’s loss.
I met Scott about a month ago and only via the phone. However, he made a great impact on me and I miss him. He and his remain in my thoughts and prayers.
