Scarlette Anne Rose, 76, died peacefully in her home in Memphis, TN on Nov 25, 2016.Born March 11, 1940, in Amory, Mississippi, Scarlette was the daughter of the late Leroy Wilson Brown and Dolores Plunkett Brown. She spent her early childhood in Memphis and graduated from Central High School before marrying William Arthur Rose October 4, 1958.Scarlette was employed by Bell South as an operator for many years in the late 1960’s and then retired with AT&T in 2006.Scarlette is survived by her son, Craig Rose, (partner, Laura Colvin); daughter, Dee Rose-Zaffino (husband, Michael Zaffino); grandchildren, Dylan Rose, Kayla Colvin and Squiggy Zaffino. Services will be held at St Marks United Methodist Church, 8255 Winchester Road, Memphis, TN 38125 on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Visitation will begin at 12 noon and funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Burial will be private in Memorial Park Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Methodist Healthcare Hospice, Memphis, TN or St Mark’s United Methodist Church.Her services have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis TN 38119.
