S.B. "Sam" Sprague's Obituary
S.B. Sprague “Sam”, 73, of Memphis and Kenova, WV, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012. He was born in Kenova, WV, on May 28, 1939. He graduated in 1957 from Ceredo-Kenova High School and worked 35 years for 3M Co. and Imation. One of Sam’s greatest pleasures was his membership in the creative writers group at McWherters Retirement Center, where he had made many friendships. His parents, M.E. and Jessie Sprague; brother Eugene; and sister Mildred Walker, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Linda; two children, Amy Sprague, Jonathan (Connie) Sprague; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Heather Sprague; two great grandchildren, Abagail and Tyler; two nieces and one nephew of Prichard, WV, Billie Ellis, Phillip Walker and Rhonda Zook of Alabama. Also, two other nephews in Mims, AR, Wilson and Travis Sprague. His memorial service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave., at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2012. All are invited to attend this Celebration of Life. Donations to the Leukemia Foundation would be gratefully accepted.
