Ms. Sarah was the hub of the Higher and Adult Education division at the University of Memphis. She took care of me and many of my friends; and for that, I am truly happy to have known her. -William Johnson

Sarah was a blessing to me and a friend I will never forget. As a student at the Univ. of Memphis, Sarah never failed to do all she could to help me and encourage me to finish my education. She did not have a fancy title and to many, she was just a secretary. But she faithfully rendered service as unto the Lord and did so with a spirit of excellence. She also went over and beyond, both as an employee and as a friend. When my son was born at a little over 2 pounds and I was sitting in the nursery, I looked up to see Sarah coming in, praying for my baby. I will miss her presence and her smile. But her legacy lives on, in the example she set while she lived and in the values she instilled in her son, Kevin. Sarah will never be forgotten.Rita Williams Green
