Sarah Jeanne Gary Taylor's Obituary
Sarah Jeanne Gary Taylor, 87, formerly of Memphis, passed away November 30 in Starkville, MS. Sarah was preceded in death by her husbands, James H. Taylor, Jr. and Wendell Thornburg both of Memphis, TN; her parents, Robert Embry and Annie Louise Gary; sister, Mary Ellen Ward and brother, Harold Gary. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Susan Taylor and her husband Dr. William Pepper of Starkville, MS; son, John Taylor and his wife, Carol of Scottsboro, AL; sisters, Sue Cunningham of Sevierville, TN, Linda Langston (Jackie) of Atoka, TN; brothers, Nick Gary (Pat) of Knoxville, TN,, Bill Gary (Joyce) of Memphis, TN and one grandson Zachary Taylor of Scottsboro, AL. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 5 from 11 am until service time of 12 pm in the Mausoleum Rotunda at Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Sarah Cannon Fund.
