Sarah Campbell's Obituary
Sarah Basham Campbell, 96, of Memphis, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at Allen Morgan Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Campbell was born in McNairy County on October 14, 1913. She was retired from Memphis Defense Depot after 25 years of service. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Robert Leland Campbell. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Moore of Houston, TX, and Judy Hogue (Hank) of Memphis, TN and Linda O’Connor (Dan) of Mt. Juliet, TN, one brother, Maynard Basham, two sisters, Helen Campbell and Florence Harris, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. The visitation will be held 6p.m. to 8p.m. Friday, February 19, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 20 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Jackson Avenue United Methodist Church or charity of the donor’s choice.
