Sara McElroy Higgins' Obituary
Sara McElroy Higgins, 92, passed away July 22, 2015. She is survived by her son, Philip, 3 nephews, 2 nieces, and sister in law, Marie Gibson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, sons, Joey and Tommy, brother, Charles McElroy, and her sister, Dorothy Bolton. She retired from Holiday Inns, Inc., was a member of White Station Church of Christ, and a volunteer at the Church Health Center. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 24 from 5:00-7:00PM with the service to be held Saturday, July 25 at 2:30PM. All services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family requests any donations be sent to the charity of donor’s choice.
