Santosh K. Ganguli's Obituary
Santosh K. Ganguli, 80, passed on April 18, 2016 from complications from Parkinson’s Disease. Dr. Ganguli is survived by his wife of 55 years, Manjusri, and 2 sons, Saptarsi and Juni, and his daughters in law, Sudha and Malini. Dr. Ganguli is also survived by 4 young grandchildren. Dr. Ganguli was an urologist who served the Memphis community from 1979 to 2011. He was an accomplished author, having published 5 books relating to Indian culture and history, as well as a collection of Bengali poetry. Dr. Ganguli also founded the Mid-South Bengali Association. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, April 23, at Memorial Park Funeral Home with visitation from 10-11:30 and service to follow at 11:30 a.m.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119.
