Charlie , Renee, and Michelle , Our family is so sad to hear about the passing of our dear neighbor and friend of 33 yrs . We became friends often going to the Picadilly to eat , then Sephora to look at makeup . I remember long walks and even tripping over bumps in the sidewalks . You always prayed for me and my family . No one ever doubted your love for God and your faith . You were a great example for God . The picture is when I visited you in hospital and I showed you how Snapchat worked . We took pictures and laughed for an hour . Oh my , how I’m going to miss you and your beautiful garden . God said to you when you met him in heaven …”well done my good and faithful servant.” I love you Sandra

To Charlie and your wonderful family:

Our family is very sad to learn of Sandra's passing. We got to know her through her participation in the JCC musical shows on which our father (of blessed memory), Irving Evans, served as Musical Director. A few of us also participated in some of the shows, either on stage or as part of the musical accompaniment. Through Sandra, we also got to know you, her beloved husband. Charlie, we all send you and your family our sincerest condolences and best wishes at this sad and difficult time.

Sandra, being the upbeat and happy person that she was, I thought I'd share a favorite remembrance that always puts a smile on our faces and makes us laugh. When she played Mrs. Snow (I think that's the character's name) in "Carousel", during the opening night performance, she "froze" right before her first entrance. Everyone was concerned and trying to "snap her out of it". My brother, Randy (of blessed memory), who was always a jokester, was standing near her, and all of the sudden, he called her name, dropped his pants, and "mooned" her. The comic relief must've relaxed her and she made her entrance and performed her part beautifully. As I said, we've recalled and laughed at that fun memory many times over the years.
