Sandra Michele Easley's Obituary
Sandra Michele Easley passed away peacefully December 6, 2023, in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Sandy was born November 7, 1947, in Memphis, TN to Richard and Mary Matz.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Lewis Mohundro and her son, Matthew Easley. She is survived by her loving husband, Terry Easley, and daughters Michele Sory (Jared), Christy Lee (Danny), and Katie Williford (Blake). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Rachel, Jack, Sam, Emily, Jameson, Garner, and Margaret, to whom she was known as “Honey.”
As the eldest of seven girls, Sandy was known to be caring and generous. She had an enormous heart that she shared with the many lives she touched. Holidays and birthdays were always celebrated in her home with warmth and cheer. Her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother came above all else. Sandy was a true matriarch of the family. Sandy’s infectious laughter and bright smile will be deeply missed by her husband, daughters, grandchildren, sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Please join Sandy’s family in celebrating her life Wednesday, December 13 at 9:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am in the Riverside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude in Sandy’s memory.
