Sammie J. Roehrs' Obituary
SAMMIE JEAN ROEHRS, 80, of Memphis, TN passed away peacefully December 10, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Monday, December 13, and Services will follow at 4 p.m. Mrs. Roehrs was preceded in death by her husband, John Martin Roehrs. She leaves her sons, David (Lois) Roehrs of Germantown, TN and Tim (Hope) Roehrs of Wilmington, NC and five grandchildren, Allison, Benjamin, Bradley, Zac and J.T. Roehrs. Mrs. Roehrs was a longtime member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church known as “Big Momma” to all famly and friends. She always opened her home and heart to all she came in contact with. Her legacy will live on for many years and if you missed out on her fried chicken, you will have to wait until you get to heaven.
