Sallye T. Nelson's Obituary
Columbus, MS – Sallye T. Nelson, 88, passed away February 4, 2014. She was born April 21, 1925 in Memphis, TN to Nannie Mae and James Benjamin Temple. She was employed by WMC for many years and was the 1968 President of the Pilot Club. She was a former member of Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Nelson. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Phyllis Veal, Jim Wetzel, Linda W. Armstrong, Suzanne W. Archibald, James Michael Temple, and Stewart Lee Temple. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Forest Hill Baptist Church.The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, (901)767-8930, “Behind the Stone Wall”Location: Section K
