Sally Ann Smith McCarver's Obituary
Sally Ann Smith McCarver, 80 of Collierville, Tennessee, passed away on May 12, 2021. Born June 13, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to Rankin Lloyd Smith and Sally Estella Hill Smith.
Mrs. McCarver retired from the City of Memphis hospital after 25yrs of service as secretary and bookkeeper. She later worked for St. James Catholic Church and Incarnation Catholic Church as parish facilitator.
Mrs. McCarver is survived by her sons, Richard Cox and Patrick McCarver, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rankin Lloyd Smith and Sally Estella Hill Smith, husband, John Clifton McCarver, Jr. and son, John Clifton McCarver III.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, Tennessee, 38119, with a graveside service to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery, 1663 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, Tennessee, 38106.
