Ruth Roberts' Obituary
Ruth Jensen Roberts, 68, passed away July 12, 2012 at Methodist University Hospital. She was born March 15, 1944 in Copenhagen, Denmark to Astrid and Orlo Jensen. She is survived by her husband, David Roberts; son, Brian Arie; and a sister, Merry Jensen. She was a Training Coordinator with University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She was also very involved in various university boards and state and national-level boards in regards to development disabilities. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 16 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
