As a toddler, I could not pronounce Ruth Ann so she will always by my Aunt Aunt (ant-ant), and it stuck. She was like a second Mom to me in my younger years and eventually became the Best Aunt Ever and best friend. She always made time for me on my visits home and came to visit me in North Carolina several times. There are so many great times with food, music and festivals - too many to count. She was an amazing person inside and out. I will miss her smile, her laugh, and the fun she always brought to every occasion. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family and friends for their loss - She will always be in our hearts.
Ruth Ann will truly be missed. She was more like a sister to me than my real sister. She helped me through some very sad times and was always there for me. We enjoyed sharing time together - shopping, eating out, attending Memphis events, and just enjoying each other's company. She maintained her opinions but always in a loving, caring way. She was a very good traveling companion. We made several trips visiting Kerri in North Carolina. The hours on the road passed quickly as we talked and joked and enjoyed the drive. While there, we three shared time together and she was always agreeable and ready to join the fun. She was upbeat, positive and enjoyed life and I will truly miss her now and always.
Ruth Ann will be so very missed - there was so much love in her heart. She was more a sister to me than my real sister. We shopped, enjoyed eating out, going to Memphis events, and just spending time together. We traveled to North Carolina to visit Kerri many times and enjoyed those times when we (as adults) could be together. She was an enjoyable traveling companion, making driving time pass by quickly. She had a sense of humor; could keep you laughing; so spunky and fun; always agreeable to ideas and plans of others, and yet still maintain her opinion.
