Ruth B. Manning's Obituary
Ruth Byars Manning, 72, went to be with Jesus, April 23, 2010 following a long illness. Mrs. Manning was retired after 32 years as a teacher and principal at Harding Academy. She was a member of White Station Church of Christ. Her faith in God and her love for her family were unending. She adored her family, friends, and students, who loved and respected her in return. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Clarence Earle Manning; daughters, Buffy Lynn and her husband, Richie, Dr. Rusudan K. Hopman and her husband, Gerrit of Lexington, KY; son, Stanley Manning; sister, Jonny B. Antoline and her husband Robert of Belleville, IL; brothers, Russell E. Byars and his wife, Judy of Tunica Co, MS., and Roy C. Byars and his wife, Judy of Batesville, MS; as well as her grandchildren, Cooper Earl Manning, and Audrey Ellen Lynn. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Sunday at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday at White Station Church of Christ.
