Ruth Darling's Obituary
Ruth Ray Darling, 88, passed away May 26, 2016. She was born June 30, 1927 in Ruleville, MS. Ruth was a lifelong member of Colonial Baptist Church and a graduate of Humes High School. She was a former FBI agent and a member of the Society of Former FBI Women. She also served as medical assistant to Dr. Thomas Stanley at Methodist University Hospital. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Donald D. Darling and brother, Richard Ray of Springfield, IL. She is survived by her children, Bruce Darling, Kathryn Roebuck (James), and Keith Darling (Joyce); grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua, and Jackson Darling, Jason Wear, and Brittney Darling; and great-granddaughter, Aubrey Wear. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, May 29 in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be sent to Colonial Baptist Church or Applingwood Healthcare Center.
