Ross Hamilton Williams' Obituary
Ross Hamilton Williams, 35, passed away Wednesday, November 15,2017. Ross was born February 22, 1982, in Birmingham, AL. He leaves his loving parents Richard and Nancy (Galyon) Williams of Germantown, sister Caroline Williams Zurhellen (Cody), brothers Jeff Williams (Taylor-fiancé’), John Williams, grandfather Dr. James T. Galyon, nephew and niece, Porter and Avery Zurhellen. Ross also leaves his beloved dogs Bella and Lily. He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ross grew up loving the outdoors and sports, particularly playing competitive baseball for the Memphis Lightning. He later played baseball for White Station High School, where he graduated in 2000. He made his family proud attending the University of Tennessee, where he was accepted into the School of Architecture. Ross’ inquisitive mind had him exploring the outdoors and reading books of all genres with an insatiable thirst for knowledge. When he wasn’t reading, Ross could be found listening to music and gazing at the stars at the family farm in Mississippi where he loved to spend time. Services will be held Monday, November 20 at Hope Presbyterian Chapel, located at 8500 Walnut Grove Rd, at 12 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11 a.m.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Wolf River Conservancy or Church Health Center.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery 5998 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119 (901)767-8930 “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
