Rosemary McManus Gallen's Obituary
Mrs. Rosemary Patricia McManus Gallen age 91 of Cordova, Tennessee. passed away on November 27, 2022 at Ave Marie Home in Bartlett, Tennessee.
She was born on May 1, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph McManus and Marion Weidel McManus.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gallen and a brother, Joseph McManus.
After high school, Rosemary became a stewardess and enjoyed flying for American Airlines. While stationed in Buffalo, New York, she met Jack Gallen, the love of her life. They married in 1959 and moved to Huntington, New York. There were many moves before she landed in Memphis with her husband and three children. She enjoyed taking care of her family, her home, and cooking wonderful meals. Rosemary loved to throw a beautiful dinner party and have her neighbors over to enjoy time together. Later in life, she worked at MIFA with the senior companion program. She will be greatly missed by her family and leaves behind a loving legacy
Survivors include her three children, Jacquelyne Gallen of St. Louis, Missouri, Lawrence "Larry" Gallen and wife Donna of St. Louis, Missouri and Cynthia Savage and husband Michael of Cordova, Tennessee. Other survivors include six grandchildren, Quinn, Elaine, Nicole, Elizabeth, Katherine and Victoria.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:00am at St Ann's Catholic Church in Bartlett, Tennessee.
