Rose Sullivan Stephens' Obituary
Rose Sullivan Stephens, 87, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, James Sykes Stephens. She is survived by her sons Jim (Debbie) Stephens, Jody (Diana) Stephens and David Stephens; three grandchildren ; two great-grandchildren; sister Grace Ostheimer; brothers Dan Sullivan, Jim Sullivan and William Sullivan; and her wonderful friend of many years, Dot Nickell. The family wishes to thank mom’s caregivers at Belmont Village who went over and beyond to help her on her journey home; Crossroads Hospice who helped mom in her final weeks and mom’s friends at Germantown Baptist Church.Visitation will be on Monday, August 18, at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 10:30 A.M until 11:30 A.M with the memorial service immediately following.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Germantown Baptist Church or to the Church Health Center.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
