Rose Marie LaVoice's Obituary
Rose Marie Pfalzer LaVoice passed away on December 21, 2022 at the age of 80.
She is survived by Harry LaVoice, her loving husband of 57 years, their four children and their spouses, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many relatives and dear friends.
Rose worked in Parish Religious Education for more than two decades in Paducah, KY where she was awarded for her service as Director. She also distinguished herself serving as President of The Ladies of Charity in Memphis, TN. Rose’s devotion to her family and friends showed in all the small kindnesses of daily life. She never forgot a birthday, holiday, graduation, or anniversary. Neither did the rest of us because you were sure to get a card in her distinctive handwriting. Rose was a collector of people, including her children’s friends. These bonus sons and daughters were some of the greatest joys of her life. Her ability to maintain friendships despite distance and time showed abiding love and care.
Funeral Mass for Mrs. LaVoice will be held at Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 10:30am The LaVoice Family will receive family and friends for visitation on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Fireside Chapel from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
