Ronny "Ron" Warren's Obituary
Ronny “Ron” Warren, 78, of Cordova, TN, passed away on July 7, 2022. He graduated from Messick High School where he played trumpet in the band. He played the trumpet for the Mar-Keys as a teenager. He was a founding member of the Iglesia De Luz Y Gloria Spanish Church and served as an Elder and also in a Pastoral Position. Leader of Full Gospel Business Men’s and Women’s Fellowship Group in the surrounding area of Memphis. He was a territory sales manager for Sebco Book Company.
Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Mary Alice Warren, and his first wife, Betty Louise Warren. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Janice Warren, three children, Mary Alice Bertani (John), Ron Warren, Jr. (Crystal), and Jed Warren (Kristina), six grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers, Johnny Warren (Mona) and Al Warren (Brenda), sister, Pam Gentry (Riley), and stepbrother, Jim Nails (Shirley).
The visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the service time at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Compassion Church, 3505 S. Houston Levee Rd, Germantown, TN. A private interment service will be held at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery.
