Ronald DiMeglio's Obituary
RONALD ANTHONY DiMEGLIO, age 74, of Memphis, died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents Crescenzo and Mary DiMeglio. Ron is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Maxwell DiMeglio, his two children, Teri Tate (Paul) of Auburn, CA and Stephen DiMeglio (Helen Anne) of Memphis and six grandchildren, Katie and Jack Tate and Anna Jane, Nicholas, Cecilia and James DiMeglio. He also leaves his siblings, Marilyn Sopczak and James (Judy) DiMeglio of Norwalk, CT, Sandra DiMeglio of Nassau, DE, and Nicholas (Eleanor) DeMeglio of Raleigh, North Carolina. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A Navy veteran and former executive at Southern Central Paper Company, Ron retired as vice-president of purchasing for Cleo Wrap. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 16 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 on Monday, January 17 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorials may be sent to the Monsignor Paul W. Clunan Endowment Fund at St. Louis Catholic Church, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of the donor’s choice.
