I consider myself one of the lucky ones that was able to spend some quality time with Rolando some years ago. I always enjoyed our talks about anything and everything. He loved to reminisce about his days traveling with the Navy, cooking, fishing, and the wild times he had with the friends he met along the way. Rolando soon became to be called TayTay to me after we would spend much quality time together while sipping on San Miguals; watching sports, movies, arguing at the news, and eating his home cooked meals. Tay's cooking was some of the best I have ever had, and he would always make extra servings for me. Even though he would get mad at me for using to many paper towels, we always had a good time, and his door was always open. Although it hurts to see him gone, it makes me rest easy knowing he will ALWAYS be a Guardian Angel to his family. Rest in internal peace, Tay. Cheers.
