Roger Cranford's Obituary
Roger Cranford, of Memphis, passed away on February 9, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital, Park Avenue. Mr. Cranford was born on February 21, 1937 to the late Howard and Ann Cranford in Belmont, MS. Mr. Cranford was a graduate of Memphis Technical High School and an Army Veteran.
He is survived by his son Kevin Cranford of Memphis, TN, two sisters, Linda Howard of Hernando, MS and Sandra Burns of Windsor, CO, nephew Thomas Howard of Horn Lake, MS, and 2 nieces, Susan Fritts of Saulsbury, TN and Stacey Burns of Fort Collins, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Virginia Scruggs of Southaven, MS.
Arrangements were placed under the care of Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in his honor to the COPD Foundation or the American Lung Association.
A small memorial service of family and friends is planned to be held at a future time and place to be announced.
