Roger R. Clapp's Obituary
Roger Ross Clapp passed away on September 25,2015. Born on February17,1925 in Peach County Georgia to Blanche and Edwin M. Clapp. He is survived by his wife Kathryn to whom he was married for 67 years, two children Sharon and Marc and a son Roger Alan who preceded him into Eternity. He was a grandfather to seven grandchildren and great grandfather to ten. Roger was a professor of Bible and Theology at Mid-South Bible College, Crichton College and Elder at Evangel Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Miami University of Ohio, Dallas Theological Seminary, Memphis State University, and received his Doctorate in Education at University of Tennessee. He was known from his love of teaching the truths of God’s Word to all and had a special place in his heart for the college student.Visitation will be at 10am and be followed by the service at 12 noon, Friday, October 2 at Evangel Baptist Church.
