Rodney C. Kelly's Obituary
Rodney Chamblis Kelley, born May 31, 1935, died peacefully March 7, 2017. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Norma Sisk Kelley. Rod is survived by their only child, Muffy Kelley Liebenow and her two children, Amsey Grace and Watts Liebenow. Rod also leaves his longtime companion, Mary Anne Eure. Mary Anne’s daughter, Kim Taylor, and granddaughter, Shea, also considered Rod’s family. Rod served the United States Air Force. He was an employee for Delta Airlines for 35 years. After retirement, Rod enjoyed being a realtor. Rod loved the water, traveling, and barbequing his famous ribs.Services will be at Memorial Park, Friday, March 10th at 1 p.m. Visitation prior, beginning at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of the donor’s choice.
