Robyn Smalley's Obituary
Robyn Lynn Smalley, 59, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020.Robyn was born November 14, 1960 in Memphis TN to Jerry and Grace McNeill. She raised one daughter, Amber Smalley Becton.
She was preceded in death by her father Jerry McNeill Sr., and her brother Jerry McNeill Jr. She is survived by her daughter Amber (Jose) Becton, her mother Grace McNeill, and her sister Cathie (Kevin) Pruitt and 5 beautiful grandchildren.
Until her health condition made it impossible, she was active in the life of the church at Macon Road Baptist. She loved to lead others to Christ knew her riches were in heaven and not on this earth.
Robyn’s smile would turn your day around. As soon as Robyn saw you, her face would light up and she always made you feel as though you were the most important person in her world. Robyn loved cats. She rescued numerous cats over her lifetime and gave them a great home; however, her greatest achievement was her loving daughter and five grandchildren.
Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”.
Services for Robyn Smalley will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. also on Friday with burial to follow the service.
