Robin Terry Thomas' Obituary
Robin Terry Thomas, Sr., 72, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at his home. Mr. Thomas served in the United States Army from September 1, 1966 to September 5, 1969. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain after serving with the Army Rangers during the Vietnam War. During his service he received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and American Spirit Honor Medal. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the owner of Terry’s Surgical Specialties. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Albert and Evelyn Humphreys Thomas and is survived by his wife of 42 years, Suzanne Moody Thomas; sons, Rob Thomas (Marci) and Wes Thomas; daughter, Amanda Engler (Cody) and grandchildren, Easton, Hannah and Johnathan Thomas and Suzanna, Sage and Brody Engler. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, October 27 and the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Monday, October 28 all at Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Albert Hall officiating. Jim Moody, Mike Moody, Steve Moody, Robert Speight, Easton Thomas and Donny Donaldson will serve as Pallbearers. Burial with military honors will follow at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
