Robert "Bob" William Davidson's Obituary
Robert “Bob” William Davidson, 75 of Cordova passed away February 16, 2017. Bob served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. After serving in the Navy he worked for Delta Airlines for 30 years. He would work for Fed Ex for another 20 years before retiring. Bob was a member of A.O.P.A. He enjoyed watching his Cleveland Browns and Indians as well as Georgia Tech, Ohio State and especially Clemson Tigers. He leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years, Leigh H. Davidson; daughter Jennifer Butterfield (Justin); son Jeff Davidson (Kelly); sister Sandee Payne (Charlie); grandchildren Harper Davidson and Christopher Sayad. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 5-6 pm with a memorial service beginning at 6 pm. A reception will follow the services all will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Poplar Avenue. Memorials may be made to Methodist Hospice Residence, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or charity of the donor’s choice.“Celebrating Life…Behind the Stone Wall”
