Robert Carl Walls' Obituary
Robert Carl Walls, 53, of Pittsburgh PA, passed away peacefully at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis TN July 2, 2024 with his parents by his side.
Bob grew up in McKees Rocks PA and graduated from Sto-Rox High School in 1989. He received certificates in HVAC and sheet metal shortly after high school.
He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local Union No. 12 Western PA and proud owner of GC Heating and Cooling.
Bob never met a stranger. He enjoyed riding his e bike, going fishing and loved listening to music. The last few years he lived in North Carolina and recently went to Tennessee to work at Fords Blue Oval City project.
Bob was preceded in death by his only son, Gage Carl Walls.
He is survived by his parents John and Dolly Woodcook Sr, his siblings John Walls (Sue), Dave Walls (Alicia), Debra Cassidy (Tony), John Woodcook Jr (Jill), Jason Woodcook (Jennifer), and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Baptist Memorial that cared for Bob as well as Memorial Park Funeral Home for their help and compassion during this difficult time. A private memorial is planned at a later date.
