It is with great regret, that I cannot be there in the morning to represent my Mother’s family in this hour of remembrance of my Uncle Buddy. I would like the family to know that my thought’s and prayers are with you in this time sorrow. Aunt Jo, Robert and Lynn I just this evening learned of Buddy’s passing .. what can I say…. I Love you all Paul ………………
Buddy was such a wonderful man. I had the great pleasure of working with him every day for the past 9 years and he taught me so much. Not only about our business, of which he taught me a great deal, but more importantly how to be a better person. Buddy’s work ethic, as all of us at WestRock know, was amazing. He lead by example and shared his faith. He was always there for me with an encouraging word or a joke to make me laugh. I would sit at my desk and laugh when he emailed things like “I think I hear your mother calling you” when I sent him an overabundance of work. And I am honored that he would always call me “his Pal”. Both he and his wife Jo are the sweetest people I know. He will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to Jo, Lynn and family, Debby Christopher

He had great character and loved his wife, Buddy will sorely be missed. May God comfort each and everyone of you during this time. Heaven has Gained a Very Special Person Today.

I am so sorry to hear about Buddy! He was such a true inspiration to myself and my husband. I had always told Buddy that I wanted me and Jimmy to be just like him and Ms. Jo. I always depended on Buddy for his wise words of wisdom. I know he is in the arms of Jesus right now. I would like to share this thought with you all.“Eternity” “I’ll be waiting……Where the desert is covered with roses, where I can outshine the stars in a single day,the face of God isn’t hidden when I wake into eternity. Where the shadows are never discovered, tears are nothing more than a memory, death isn’t alive any longer when I wake into eternity.”Love you all and will pray for God’s faithful loving comfort. I had the pleasure and honor of working with Buddy for over 20 years. A finer individual does not exist. He always spoke fondly of his loving wife and always looked forward to their trips together. He never had to introduce himself on the hundreds of calls we shared. Who else could have a distinctive voice such as his! He left all who he met in a positive way. He will be sorely missed! My sincerest condolances to all the family.Wayne M. Schultz WestRock
