Robert Stallins' Obituary
Robert Morris Stallins, Jr., retired Special Education teacher and coach, was born November 17, 1942 and went to be with his Lord at the age of 72 on Wednesday December 31, 2014 after a brief illness. Bob was a very gentle, sweet and quiet man. Everyone who met him loved him. He touched many lives and made this world a better place. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. He leaves his beloved wife of 46 years, Nancy Bivens Stallins, his son Robert M. Stallins, III (Kathryn), his daughter Anna Katherine Yarbro (Chris) and four grandsons, Austin and Wesley Yarbro, Tucker and Tanner Stallins, and several brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews and countless other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Morris and Louise Stallins, his aunt Lucille Frazier and uncle John Frazier. Bob loved teaching, traveling, playing golf and being with his grandsons. He was a member and deacon at Germantown Baptist Church and a former deacon at Raleigh Baptist/Bartlett Hills Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until the service begins at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
