Robert Sohn's Obituary
Dr. Robert T. Sohn, 88, born August 6, 1924, died November 1, 2012. He was the son of Rev. Otto and Johanna Sohn of Beirien Springs, MI. He married Lois Sohn-nee Wegener December 30, 1948. After graduating from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. Together, they taught, served in the army, practiced Dentistry and volunteered countless hours of service at Immauel Lutheran Church and School, where he was the first principal. Doc will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He served the Lord faithfully until his death. He is survived by his wife; his sisters, Dorothy Martens, Adele Harrison, and Helen Cox; and his brother, Larry Sohn; and many nieces and nephews. Well done good and faithful servant! Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 5 at Immauel Lutheran Church. Interment will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 6 in West Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immauel Lutheran: Church, School or Grese-Sohn Endowment Fund.
