Robert Lee's Obituary
ROBERT E. LEE, 70, of Atlanta, GA, said goodbye to his family Tuesday morning, April 19, 2011 at Willowwood Nursing Home in Flowery Branch, GA. Our Bob was a lover of mankind, always content and encouraging, he was born and raised in Memphis and graduated from Messick High School. At this point in his life, he moved with family to Atlanta, GA and entered Georgia Tech. While there, his love for music became a lifetime occupation. He played several instruments, was a writer, producer and owned a recording studio. He loved his life and his God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Louise Lee of Memphis and survived by his daughter, Melissa Lee Simpson of Atlanta, GA; sister, Martha Lee Wildmon (Allen) of Hernando, MS; granddaughter, Jaden Lee; nephew, Terry Wildmon (Lyn)of Olive Branch, MS; niece, Martha Lynn Wildmon of Hernando, MS, and so many more loving relatives and friends. Most of his adult life was spent fighting diabetes, which presented many trials but his smile was still there. He was just pure fun. The most joyous times with him were spent playing games and cutting up with family on holidays. He always enjoyed himself and entertained others. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Friday, April 22 from 11 a.m.-12 noon at Memorial Park. Graveside services will begin at 12 noon in Memorial Park Cemetery.
