Robert “Bob” Clarence Laman, of Memphis, Tennessee, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 31. A private graveside service will be held on August 4th. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge. Bob was born on S Read Obituary
I am over a year late. A photo of Bob in front of his white flocked Christmas Tree with his hand made stained glass ornaments came up in my "memories" on Facebook this morning. So I googled his name to see how he was doing and it this obit came up.
Bob was SUCH a nice man. My husband and I enjoyed one of his stained glass classes, I think in 2013. Bob invited us and another friend who took his class to his annual open house.
I know he is resting in the loving arms of our Lord. Rest in Peace, Bob.
I've known Cousins Bob and Sara all my life, but didn't really get to know them until I moved to Memphis in 1985. We've been close ever since. I loved their warm sweet natures and their beautiful smiles. I will miss them, but know they are rejoicing in Heaven with Sara's mom my Aunt Madge, and her brother my dad. Can't wait to see them again someday.
This is the day that the lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it to the family of Bob laman do be encourage I will miss his beautiful smile and miss hearing him address me as beautiful and gouregious Evanglist lee from spring house village.
So grateful to know Bob Laman, always a sweet, loving, warm smile. He displayed the love of Christ in his life. Loved our conversations over the years, they usually ended up on the same subject, Jesus. I know he heard the words we are looking forward to someday, “Well done good and faithful servant”. He is now with the love of his life and Lover of his Soul. Praise God!
