Brenda Hale
Gary studied professionally in Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone, Oboe, and Advanced Study in Woodwinds; he studied M.M. Clarinet Performance at University of Michigan; he had a Bachelor of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music, Chicago, IL; Gary also was a PhD candidate in Music Education, for Clarinet Performance, and Music Literature. Gary taught junior and senior high students at the Univ of Memphis, Community Music School, as a Coordinator and Instructor of Winds, Strings, Percussion. Gary’s students often were candidates for the All West and Honor Band competitions, and many placed 1st and 2nd chairs for the competitions. Later he also taught for several local music schools in Bartlett and Germantown. {I assisted Mr. Kendrick with his admin paperwork and he spent many hours preparing great lessons and music for his students, of whom he was so very proud!}
