Robert Earl Harper's Obituary
Robert Earl Harper, 75, passed away November 19, 2017. He was born December 22, 1941 in Memphis, TN to Wilma Eaton and James Earl Harper. He was a graduate of Southside High School, William R. Moore School of Technology, and State Technical Institute. He passed the state board and became a licensed architect. He was formerly the secretary treasurer of the Memphis Chapter of the American Institute of Architecture. He retired from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2014 after 25 years of service. He was a member of Gracepoint Baptist Church where he served as chairman of the deacons and a Sunday school teacher. He was also a 32nd degree Mason. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Condrey Harper; daughters, Teri Lynn Harper and Robin Elaine Markart (William); grandchildren, Courtney Elaine White and William Griffin Markart; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Curtis Harper. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. and funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., Friday, November 24 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
