Robert Crossett's Obituary
Robert L. Crossett, 87, passed away August 9, 2017. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Crossett retired from Kroger Bakery after 40 years and was a member of Cherokee Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Melba Benefield Crossett; children, Dennis Crossett (Nancy), Diane Oattis (J.D.) and Danny Crossett; siblings, Benny Crossett, Sue Bynum and Margaret Poulter; grandchildren, Chasity, Brandon, Angela, Alicia, Michael and Kristy and great grandchildren, Reagan, Madilyn, Josef, Blake, Avery, Bella, Taylor, Tanner, Tyler, and Kenny. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until his service begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 13 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or LeBonheur Children’s Hospital.The services have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life….Behind the Stone Wall.”
