Robert Cross' Obituary
Robert Edwin Cross, 82, died September 5, 2014, peacefully at Baptist Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired Warranty Manager at Woodson Bozeman Appliance Distributor. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Blondel Cross. He leaves his wife, Rose Marie Barrasso Cross after 32 years of a loving marriage. Robert graduated from Christian Brothers High School and attended Christian Brothers University. He worshipped at Kingsway Christian Church where he enjoyed the stimulating discussions in the Sunday school class. He was a member of the “Fun Night” at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Theater Memphis, as well as Big Band music, and dining out with his loving wife, Rose Marie. He was a loyal fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, the University of Memphis Tigers, and the wonderful stage shows at Theater Memphis. Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 9. Services will be held at Kingsway Christian with a reception from 1-2 p.m., and funeral services at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 10. Burial will immediately follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
