Robert Lawrence Claunch, Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Lawrence Claunch, Jr., 80, of Selmer, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Claunch, Sr. and Myra Odia, and five siblings, Jack Claunch, Shirley Gallagher, Myra Becker, Virginia Long and James Dixon.
Mr. Claunch is survived by his daughter, Julie Youngblood (Gary) and his grandchildren, Melissa Wood (Tory), Jennifer Youngblood (Hunter), Gary Youngblood, Jr. (Brooklynn), and his other daughter, Belinda Cumberland (Corey), and his other grandchildren, Amber Jordan (Wesley), Greg Beasley, Robby Cox, Bobby Cox, Cooper Cumberland and Addie Cumberland, and ten great-grandchildren, Joseph, Grace, Brayden, Prentiss, Paisli, Tipton, Brycen, McKinley, Heidi and Ellie.
He proudly served in the US Marines and was honorably discharged as Private 1st Class as a high ranking sharp-shooter.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 30th from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. There will be a graveside service at 2:30 pm at Memorial Park Southwoods.
