Seth Neider
I was very sorry to learn of Robert’s passing. He was one of my first managers at the beginning of my career on the Ohio MARCS Program in Columbus OH for TRW/Northrop Grumman. I appreciated his kindness and mentorship. At one point during our time together, he decided to take me to get some Contracts Training in Las Vegas. We stayed in his home in Amargosa Valley and commuted in every morning to class (about 90 miles). I will never forget the hospitality of his lovely wife Jan or the menagerie of animals he had at the “ranch”. This was also my first exposure to the desert. It gave me a taste for the west, new landscapes, vegetation and vistas, that were different than my upbringing in the Midwest. No long after my time with Robert, I moved out West to Colorado Springs and we have been here for 14 years. I would like to think that Robert had a small hand in me making that decision. He will be missed. I offer my true condolences to Jan and the family.
