Bobby Beloate was a true follower of his Lord and Jesus Christ. He and his wife Bettye, were former members of Southland Baptist and he was retired from Diebold Inc. where he worked over 36 yrs in the banking industry on alarms, camera systems, keys, automatic teller machines and much more. Bobby was known for his kindness, smile, hard work and love of life. He spoke very fondly of his life as a child on the farm. He loved to bowl in his early years and camp with his family. In 1982, he married the love of his life, Bettye who had been widowed with three children, and they shared a wonderful life together. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed helping his wife Bettye keep their grandchildren. They were inseparable, attending baseball and basketball games of their grandchildren, and all their school events. Where you saw one, you saw the other. He was also very crafty in card games and loved going on vacations with his grandchildren where he could teach them how to “play” cards. (said with a smile)…
He loved his Lord and Savior and wasn’t afraid to share the Word with those who would listen. He was passionate about his beliefs and would always say, “the good Lord will take care of it.” He and Bettye both attended church until their health would no longer allow them to attend. Having cared for his wife up until her death, he would later find happiness in his great-grand children. He was a proud Grandpa, who was always talking about the Lord and his family. Thanks to all the laughter, wisdom and smiles, and love for the Lord, he leaves behind a wonderful legacy that we will continue to honor and cherish. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of the children. https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html?sc_icid=home-btn-donate-now
