Robert "Bob" Francis Prince's Obituary
Robert “Bob” Francis Prince of Southaven, MS passed away September 7, 2022. He was born on June 25, 1937, in Moosup, CT to Elzear Prince and Lydia Bissonnette. He grew up and attended school in Moosup and Plainfield, CT. He graduated from Plainfield High School in 1957 then joined the army through 1963. He later moved to Louisiana where he met his wife of 40 ½ years, Sharon Elizabeth McMillan. In 2000, they moved to Southaven, MS.
Bob was extremely talented in drawing, World War II airplanes, and all things Atlanta Braves and Ole Miss. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he held many leadership positions and found his greatest joy in teaching the young children. He was the owner of Prince and Company Remodeling and Home Inspections. He leaves many friends and family who will deeply miss him.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Elzear Prince and Lydia Bissonnette, brother Norman Prince, sister Lucille Prince Simonds, grandson Evan Prince, and granddaughter Margaret Prince. He was survived by his wife, Sharon, his sons Jonathan (Jennifer), and Russell (Elizabeth), six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be held in his memory on October 1, 2022, at 6pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Southaven, MS.
